ACM-W Gothenburg is the Gothenburg chapter of ACM-W, the Association for Computing Machinery’s Council on Women in Computing. Our mission is to support, celebrate, and advocate for the full engagement of women and other underrepresented genders in all aspects of computing and technology at Chalmers University of Technology, University of Gothenburg and beyond.
We are a diverse and inclusive community made up of students, researchers, faculty, and professionals — including PhD students, postdocs, lecturers, professors, and women in leadership roles. Together, we aim to foster a supportive environment where individuals can grow, connect, and thrive in their academic and professional journeys in computing.
We envision a tech community where diversity is not just acknowledged but celebrated — where everyone, regardless of gender, background, or identity, has equal opportunity to succeed and lead in computing.
