ACM-W Creative Winter Gathering – Wood Carving for a Peaceful Future

Big changes often bring stress, and creativity can be a powerful way to heal and reconnect. With this in mind, Sara Ljungblad kindly proposed a beautiful and creative winter activity, which we are delighted to host under the ACM Women Chapter Gothenburg.
We warmly invite you to join us for a unique and joyful crafting afternoon where we will carve small handmade Christmas gifts together. These gifts can be playful, symbolic, or artistic. Perhaps we will redesign a Christmas tree in an entirely new way—one where funny mushrooms, a sweet heart, a silent bird, coat hooks, or even a strange door handle become part of the tree. Maybe it will turn into a very pink Christmas tree, or even a “Williams pear tree”—who knows? Our imagination is truly the limit 😊
We may also choose to create something entirely different—let the creativity flow!

We will be guided by Anders Lindberg, wood-carving expert, and Maral Babapour, also a carving expert from the Institute of Stress Medicine, who will join us.
